Message: Here's a great article I found at www.northwestnavigator.com: -- Ernesto Dadia passed away on Monday Nov. 29, 2004 at Naval Hospital, Bremerton, Wash. He was a native of Manila, Philippines born to Horacio and Rosita Dadia on January 11 1949. His loving wife, Violet Crisostomo of Imus, Cavite, Philippines, survives him. They had two children from their wonderful bond of marriage, son Ernest John Dadia of Silverdale, daughter Shirley Dadia-Galinato of Bothell, one grandchild, Jaden. Mr. Dadia is the eldest child of 9 siblings; two brothers, Horacio Dadia Jr. and Ramon Dadia, both of Long Beach, California; seven sisters; Cristina Dadia-Riego Teresita, Flora and Lorna Dadia, Garcia Mooney, Erlinda Radtke and Josie Gaynor, all surviving him. As a resident of Washington, Ernie attended Olympic College in Bremerton, gaining an Associate degree in Computers Science. Mr. Dadia’s Naval Career began in October 6, 1969 where he traveled extensively finally settling in the Washington area where he retired August 31 1992. Then, Ernie entered the civilian sector March 15, 1993 as Military Pay Technician. Ernie efficiently handled an enormous amount of forms and documents, which later lead him to become the Deputy Disbursing Officer and Military Pay Director at PSD Bremerton Naval Base. Then, following the base consolidation to Subase Bangor where he was employed until his sudden death on November 29, 2004. The many commands where he worked will miss his expeditious manner in which he ensured the process of vouchers and claims. Ernie D will be missed by many, so from all of us at PSD Bangor, we send our deepest regards to his family. http://www.northwestnavigator.com/index.php/navigator/regionalnews/in_remembrance_of_ernesto_ernie_d_dadia/
