Everett Transit to host Christmas lights tours around city
Everett Transit is offering a special glimpse of holiday lights on display throughout the city of Everett.
The 20th annual Holiday Light Tour is Dec. 16-19, starting each night at 7 p.m.
A special tour bus will depart from Everett Station and carry off riders on a top-secret tour throughout the city.
Denise Kruse, a spokesperson for Everett transit, says the tour will take about two hours. However, this year the tour will have 3-D glass for riders to wear that will help augment some of the light displays.
Participants are asked to meet at the station’s Great Hall where festive holiday carols will fill the air.
Tickets are $5 per person but children two and under can ride for free as long as they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Everett Transit Customer Service Center, located on the south side of the station.
Riders should also bring two non-perishable food items with them for donation to the Volunteers of America food drive.
