Fire Prevention Week events
Navy Region Northwest Fire and Emergency Services have events scheduled at various locations for the promotion of fire prevention week
Oct. 5-11. All events will provide free fire prevention items and handouts, including a variety of items for children such as hats, stickers,
coloring books and pencils.
Fire trucks will be on display for the children to explore with the assistance of a firefighter’s helping hand. For adults, memo pads, pens,
oven pot holders, and various hand outs will be available. Free blood pressure and blood glucose checks by medical technicians will also
be available.
Customers over the age of 10 will enjoy hands on training with the “Fire Pan.” The “Fire Pan” is a state of the art fire extinguisher training
