Seattle Mariners to salute Armed Forces

The Seattle Mariners’ annual Boeing Salute to the Armed Forces Night will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at 7:10 p.m. at Safeco Field. This is your chance to kick-back, be appreciated and cheer on the M’s as they take on the Texas Rangers.
The Mariners will proudly honor the men and women of the U.S. Armed Services with an evening of festivities. A pre-game ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. with a special program featuring a performance by the Honor Guard, a fly-over, and much more. At the close of the game, 20,000 fans will receive a special Mariners commemorative military coin courtesy of Boeing and 570 KVI.
Specially priced tickets are available to all MWR eligible patrons at local ITT offices through Monday, March 31. Upper level view reserved seat prices are $11, regularly $20; field level tickets are $27, regularly $40; and terrace club level seats are available for $32, regularly $47.
Transportation for the game is still available for Liberty qualified patrons at Naval Base Kitsap. Rides are $5 per passenger and pick-ups will be made at Sinclair’s and @EZZ. For more information call (360) 353-5978, space is limited.
Transportation from Naval Station Everett will depart at 5:30 p.m. Rides are free for Liberty qualified patrons and $5 for all others.
Fans will have more opportunities throughout the 2008 season to take advantage of discount tickets for select games through ITT. The Mariners will also host Seafair Navy Night Friday, Aug. 1 against the Baltimore Orioles. Tickets for this game and others throughout the season are already on sale at ITT.
