VAQ-129 graduated four new EA-6B electronic counter-measures officers, June 16.

Many were on hand at the NAS Whidbey Island Officers’ Club to witness the event. Capt. Sterling Gilliam, VAQ-129 commanding officer, gave the graduates a well-deserved pat on the back.

“These guys have worked hard here at VAQ-129. Now it’s time to really enjoy what the Prowler community has to offer,” said Gilliam.

The new Prowler aircrew were welcomed immediately and whole-heartedly by their Fleet squadrons. Joining the fleet are Lt. Chad Mirt, VAQ-130; Lt.j.g. Colin Allen, VAQ-137; Lt. Joel Funk, VAQ-139; and Lt.j.g. Joshua Vannyhuis, VAQ-142.
